There is something enchanting about the wetlands and I feel so lucky to have grown up with it close by. On our last trip the boardwalk was completely flooded so we didn't make it very far into the park.
This time I was so relieved to walk all throughout the park and see how much additional land has been preserved since I was a child. The park and boardwalk must have tripled in size since then.
